When Melanie first came to Ripple of One, she was short by $400 every month.  To add to that monthly stress she also had $6,000 in debt and worked in a dead end job. She said she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

NOW Melanie has paid off her debts, has a savings account and is attending college. She is currently working at a Ripple internship at the Tribble Center while going to school. She loves her job and recently received a strong letter of recommendation from her manager.

With the help of her mentors - Melanie has learned how to speak up for herself in her personal and professional life which has helped her with some family challenges that she’s facing.  She recently has said “I’ve been in this program for less than 2 years… and my whole life has changed.”
