Janeisha's Story
My name is Janeisha Kirksey. I’m a proud graduate of the Ripple of One program. I’m so thankful for Ripple of One. Before Ripple, I was working for the school system in food services, living paycheck to paycheck, and always paying my bills at the last minute. With Ripple’s help, I’ve learned how to budget and save, and I pay my bills on time. Getting organized has felt like a weight off my shoulders!
I came to Ripple looking for extra support, and I definitely found it in my amazing team. With their support, I was able to enhance my education and find the career that's right for me in order to better my and my kids’ lives.
Not only did I obtain my Patient Service Representative Certification from Greenville Technical College, but I now have an amazing job at Bon Secours as a PSR. This, along with raising my kids as a single mom, are my proudest accomplishments!
If I had the chance to speak with a new participant coming into the Ripple of One program, I would let them know up front that they’re not alone. Ripple of One is an awesome support system that feels like family.
We are all here for one another. To all the supporters of Ripple, I want to thank you for what you’ve given to this program! Your support definitely made a difference in my and my kids’ lives. You’ve made all of our lives better!
