Julia Schaefer is the Care/Office Manager for Ripple of One in Greenville and Pickens Counties. With 10 years of dedicated service to Ripple, she began her journey as a volunteer financial coach, later serving on the Board of Directors before joining the staff in January 2019. Throughout her time with Ripple, Julia has taken on various roles, starting as a Financial Freedom Manager, where she assisted families with budgeting and financial literacy. She then became a Case/Care Manager, guiding families through the program, and eventually transitioned to include Outreach/Area Development.

In her current position, Julia manages the caseload for Greenville participants, as well as, fostering community partnerships that will help Ripple grow and thrive in the local community. “We see the Greenville area as a critical component of our expansion in the Upstate,” she explains. “With the rapid economic growth in this region, Greenville presents unique challenges for the underserved population.” Ripple aims to empower this community by providing the essential tools and resources for financial independence and inclusion.

Julia resides in the Clemson area and enjoys working out, reading, cooking, travel and time spent with friends. Her proudest accomplishment is the independence and success of her young adult daughters. “They bring me joy and amaze me every day.”
